These LockWrap® labels have a peel-off, pressure-sensitive backing and a polyester over-laminate. Each label comes with a clear shrink-to-fit sleeve. Use a compatible laminator for the label and the LMBW001A Industrial Heat Gun or comparable equipment to apply the sleeve, following the equipment instructions.

Complete the employee identification on the label before finishing and attaching it to the padlock. Use the label as part of your facility's lockout/tagout procedure.

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(5)(ii)(D) requires lockout/tagout devices to identify the employee applying them. Section 1910.147(c)(5)(ii)(B) requires devices to be standardized within the facility by at least one of color, shape or size. A label or sleeve alone does not establish compliance of the completed lockout system. For the strength of the completed lockout device, consult 1910.147(c)(5)(ii)(C); the label does not determine the device's mechanical strength.
