Lockout Hasps

Lockout hasps provide multiple attachment points so employees can apply individual padlocks during servicing. Choose the material, dimensions and number of lock positions from the specific product's specifications.

Select and use lockout devices under the employer's energy-control procedures. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(5) sets requirements for durability, standardization, substantial construction and employee identification; suitability depends on the device, application and workplace conditions.

Follow the device manufacturer's instructions and the employer's procedures for individual or group lockout. No single hasp material is prescribed for every application by OSHA 1910.147.
